Lary 7 is the founder of the Platiskville Records label and studio, student of Tony Conrad and a perennial figure of the New York music and art scene since the early 1980s. "Not Junk Yet - The Art of Lary 7" features never-before-seen interviews, performances, collaborations and conversations with Lary 7 and his fellow artists on the New York art & music scenes, giving us an intimate glimpse into the modus operandi, working concepts and sound and image experimentations of a man who has survived independent of the music industry for decades-- influencing and inspiring all that have met him.

The Film-Makers’ Cooperative (a.k.a. New American Cinema Group) is the largest archive and distributor of independent and avant-garde films in the world. Established in 1961 by a group of 22 path-breaking moving image artists (including Andy Warhol, Jonas Mekas, Shirley Clarke, and Stan Brakhage), the Coop has more than 5,000 films, videotapes, and DVDs in its collection.
